Molecular Pathology

Overview:

The Molecular Pathology Laboratory at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is a full-service diagnostic laboratory that performs cutting-edge clinical molecular tests for inherited disorders, leukemias, lymphomas, solid tumors, infectious diseases and identity testing. It strives to perform molecular testing of high technical quality and in strict adherence to ethical principles. All faculty members are Board-Certified in either Pathology or Clinical Molecular Genetics, two of them additionally in the new subspecialty of Molecular Genetic Pathology. Genetic counseling services related to testing performed here are also available.
